André Filipe Farias Marques (born 1 August 1987 in Laceiras, Carregal do Sal) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for S.C. Beira-Mar on loan from Sporting Clube de Portugal, as a left defender.
Having made his professional debuts with Sporting Clube de Portugal in 2005–06 (three matches), Marques played during the following season on loan to second division's Clube Desportivo dos Olivais e Moscavide. He was also loaned the next season, "upgrading" to União Desportiva de Leiria in the top level.
A lack of playing opportunities prompted another loan in February 2008, this time to Sport Clube Freamunde, in the second level.
In 2008–09, Marques was loaned again by Sporting, now to Vitória de Setúbal, as he was only fourth-choice left back for the Lisbon powerhouse. After Aly Cissokho's departure to F.C. Porto in January 2009, he became first-choice at Vitória, scoring his first goal in the top level on the 30th, in a 2–4 home loss against Vitória de Guimarães.
For 2009–10, Marques was recalled by Sporting: in the preseason, as Argentine Leandro Grimi was still convalescing from a serious injury and veteran Marco Caneira was often played out of his centre back position, he impressed and managed to make the roster for the season, starting in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers against FC Twente (one match) and ACF Fiorentina (both).
In the 2010–11 season, Marques was not part of Sporting newly appointed coach Paulo Sérgio's plans, which led to another loan deal, this time with S.C. Beira-Mar, freshly promoted to the top flight.
